With a few years of art classes and a few more studying various artists, Richard Nguyen chose the position of Visual Arts Editor. He has learned to appreciate the ideas of visual clarity and distinct style after completing several personal pieces. These are the qualities he seeks to instill in Cog while on staff.
Soma Mei Sheng Frazier is an East Coast Native living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her debut fiction collection, Collateral Damage: A Triptych, earned praise from Nikki Giovanni, Daniel “Lemony Snicket” Handler, Sarah Shun-lien Bynum, Molly Giles, Antonya Nelson and others and won the RopeWalk Press Editor’s Fiction Chapbook Prize. Federico Fonseca is a record label music videographer and producer. His family is from San Jose de Gracia, Jalisco, Mexico. Federico writes music for the Latin ghetto.
Nathan is an avid audio enthusiast focusing his studies on production sound, mixing, and sound design. Finishing his bachelors degree in Digital Audio Technology next Summer, he has already worked on the short film studio Project X working as a music composer, as well as production work for the brand TEDx. He is a native Seattlelite who loves the outdoors, and will never pass up a day in the woods.
